It was our 1 year of marriage. My husband Olivier had to travel for the job, so we could not be together in THE day. BUT only in the Netherlands :)
We plan to go Zimbabwe for few days, and call it ‘’Honey moon’’, although, we usually have no copy rules for anything in our life.
It turn out, that I have to wait for Zim visa more than 3 weeks, and everything in the last moment. Then Visa Company said: ''It is not a Kenya, where you can get visa in 3 days''. That was enough for us to find other opportunity.
We thought we don't have to hurry; it is very easy to go to Kenya. :) Olivier already flies Zimbabwe, and we had to meet in Kenya. Our partner promised to organize visa on arrival for me. Hahaha, But he didn't know I have Armenian passport and for Armenians it is forbidden to go to Kenya. One Armenian guy was the boyfriend of president of Kenya, and overuses it.
I arrived in Kenya airport, they don't let me in. Security people were organizing back flight for me. Fortunately I met Olivier and our partner, who didn't have any since of trust in his face. I was getting nervous...
Securities people faces didn’t give any confidence, that things are going right. We wait for more than 3 hours, without answer, yes but NO.
Finally our partners face smiles. He could make it. Thanks to him and his friend WE could be together in our big day, in our First year of marriage, in our ''Honey Moon'.
So if you ask me how it is- first year of marriage, is it celebration? I would say YES, but again in our case it is different.
The time we had in Kenya was going on, but not for us. Again I was getting nervous.
Our partner had even more expectation, after successful trial to solve the problem. But I have so many plans in my mind. Our ''Honey moon'' days were finishing, sill we are in the business. Finally in last day we meet Dutch lady Sunne and her lovely daughters in Malindi Hotel. It was Sunne’s birthday; we organize surprise cake for her. We had great time.
Then my plans again concern my mind. And I make very fast plan for next day. OOO it was great. We marry again, in the Malindi beach; with many lovely people; happy to see us happy, to make us happy. We live the moments which were missing in our first marriage plan-’’ Jumping in the pool’’.
Our Honey Moon was done, but only for that time, because we decided to continue good traditions.
Sometimes you have to trust people without reason :)
